PT. YAKULT INDONESIA PERSADA is a fermented milk producer founded on February 2, 1990 as a licensee of Yakult Honsha Co., Ltd., Japan. The factory started the production on January 1991.
Initially, the factory was located in Jakarta. However, due to clean water scarcity in Jakarta, it was later moved to Sukabumi, West Java. Besides Sukabumi, the company also established a factory in Mojokerto, East Java.
