PT. Yamazaki Indonesia is a subsidiary to Tokyo based Japan’s largest bread-baking corporation Yamazaki Baking Co., Ltd. PT. Yamazaki Indonesia was established in February 2016 with representative office located in Jakarta and one plant located in Cikarang, West Java.
The parent company, Yamazaki Baking Co., Ltd. was founded in March 1948 and started mass production of bread in 1955. The company’s lineup centers bread, sweet buns, Japanese-style confectionery, Western-style confectionery, processed bread and prepared rice and side dishes, as well as jam and desserts. Companies in the Yamazaki Baking Group manufacture a wide variety of products, including biscuits, crackers and sembei (rice crackers).
Besides Indonesia, the company also established overseas business in other Asian and Western countries such as Hongkong, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Thai, Taiwan, USA and France.
