SHIMIZU CORPORATION is a Tokyo-based company mainly engaged in the construction business. The Company operates in two business segments, namely the construction segment ant the development segment.
The Construction segment involves in contracting for building. The Development segment involves in the leasing of land and buildings, as well as the orders for construction work. In addition, the Company is also involved in the sale of construction materials, maintenance and operation of public facilities, as well as the operation of care facility for elderly.
As of March 31, 2014, the Company had 56 subsidiaries and 10 associated companies.
It has been widely recognized as one of the top 5 contractors in Japan and among the top 20 in the world.
Jakarta representative office was founded in 1980, focusing in integrated service of project planning, construction and management.
